Keep in mind, design and prototyping can be expensive. Unless your product is very simple, you can expect to spend at least $2000 for a prototype. For complex devices with electronics or complicated mechanisms the costs can go up significantly. You should determine if a prototype is appropriate given your budget and whether or not it is necessary to promote your invention. Generally, the first steps in the process are to be sure that there is no prior art and that you have a marketable product before you invest in design and prototyping. Sometimes, a few professional illustrations are enough to convince buyers of the worth of your product - Tackle Design can help you with that as well.
We do not provide marketing assessments and we do not offer to promote your invention to the marketplace. We believe that there is a fundamental conflict-of-interest in being the ones that evaluate your idea's merit while also being the ones that hope to develop your product. We know that confidentiality is extremely important to you. Tackle Design will gladly sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that assures the safety of your intellectual property.
